Cheddar and bacon bite with onion jam and poached egg

Ingredients

Cheddar and bacon bites  9 units
Egg 1 unit
Sugar 10g
Old fashioned mustard 10g
Modena Vinegar 10g
Thyme  
Salt  
Extra virgin olive oil   

Preparation

- Add the extra virgin olive oil to a saucepan, together with the sliced onion, salt, thyme and sugar.

- Leave the saucepan on the heat for a while and then add the Modena vinegar together with the old-fashioned mustard. Mix everything well.

- Boil the egg until it is poached.

- Boil the cheddar and bacon bites with oil.

- Finally, plate the bites together with the onion marmalade and the poached egg.
